Going back to college in your late 20s or early 30s has its pros and cons. Let’s dive into it, shall we?
First off, the pros. One major advantage is that you have more life experience under your belt. You’ve probably worked a few jobs, dealt with real-world challenges, and gained a better understanding of what you truly want from your education. This can give you a clearer sense of purpose and motivation to succeed.
Another pro is that you’ll have a better idea of what you want to study. Unlike fresh-faced 18-year-olds, you’ve had time to explore different fields and figure out your passions. This means you can choose a degree program that aligns with your interests and career goals, increasing your chances of finding fulfillment in your chosen field.
Now, let’s talk about the cons. One obvious downside is the financial burden. College isn’t cheap, and going back as an adult means you may have to juggle work, family, and other responsibilities while also paying for tuition and other expenses. It’s definitely a challenge, but if you’re determined and willing to make sacrifices, it can be worth it in the long run.
Another con is the time commitment. Going back to college means dedicating several years of your life to studying, attending classes, and completing assignments. This can be tough when you already have a busy schedule, but if you’re truly passionate about furthering your education, you’ll find a way to make it work.
In conclusion, going back to college in your late 20s or early 30s has its pros and cons. It’s not an easy decision, but if you’re willing to put in the effort and make the necessary sacrifices, it can be a rewarding experience that opens up new opportunities for personal and professional growth. So, if you’re considering it, go for it! Your future self will thank you.

So I figured it might be good to look at the pros and cons to make my decision easier; and possibly make someone else’s choice easier as well. Either way I wish everyone the best. If you want leave a comment below on some of your thoughts, or what degrees you think would be worth getting in this always changing world.
